Claiming a Stored PEV

Author: Olivia Rosenberg

For you convenience, NDPD designated pick-up windows to expedite the claim process for those claiming their devices at the conclusion of the Spring Semester. During the times listed below, please claim your device at theĀ storage containers located across from Ave Maria Press in White Field. There is parking available if you choose to drive a vehicle to the location. Please bring with you your NDID, and visit our staff located under the canopy tent upon your arrival.

  • Thursday, May 9, 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, May 10, 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 11, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Monday, May 20, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

To claim a device in storage outside of these hours, stop into Hammes Mowbray Hall any time and bring with you your NDID. An officer will assist you in returning your PEV. Please note this process could take 30 minutes or more depending on officer availability. If you would like, you may call NDPD at 574-631-5555 in advance of your arrival as this could - but is not guaranteed to - lessen your wait time.

Please note, the process of claiming impounded PEV (devices not turned in voluntarily) remains the same: impounded scooters can only be picked-up by first visiting Hammes Mowbray Hall during the hours of Parking Services (typically, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM). If you are claiming an impounded device, please follow thoseĀ instructions.
