The Campus Work Control Center (CWCC) has launched a new, more user-friendly work order request system, a product of feedback from the campus community during the ND Voice survey.

AiM Software Administrator Gene Giles and CWCC Manager Scotty Myers took years of work order data from maintenance and campus facilities to create a platform that includes dropdown menus, check boxes and the ability to upload pictures and videos when submitting work order requests.

The updated work order request system can be accessed on your computer, tablet or smartphone through InsideND. Additional information can be found on the CWCC website

Mike Seamon, vice president for campus safety and University operations, said, “I couldn’t be more proud of the CWCC team and their University partners in this initiative, who have developed, tested and implemented this new system. We are confident this enhanced solution will improve both the user experience and efficiency in completing requests.”

In the past, users were required to attend an in-person class before gaining access to make a work order request. The new system eliminates this requirement. However, any department interested in a presentation on the new software, or wishing to share feedback, can contact the CWCC at cwcc@nd.edu or by calling 574-631-8888.
